According to MoPub, the price for mobile advertising on the Android platform has increased by more than a quarter in just three months. Advertising on iOS has not become significantly more expensive over the same period.

The MoPub platform has published the results of monitoring the American mobile advertising market for June-September of this year. The presented results were based on data on 20 billion advertising views that passed through the company’s services.

The difference between the price of advertising in iOS and Android apps continues to narrow. If eCPM on Android grew by 26% in the third quarter, then it remained at about the same level for iOS.

This can be seen more clearly in the graph below. The price of advertising on Android tablets increased by 30% in three months, the same indicator for iPad increased by only 7% over the same period.
