Last Thanksgiving, the number of downloads of mobile games increased, not only in the United States, where this holiday is celebrated, but also around the world.
This conclusion was made by Chartboost based on an analysis of the traffic of its advertising network. They took into account 8,000 games for iOS and Android.
So, on November 22, a 48% jump in “American” traffic was recorded compared to “normal” Thursdays; for the rest of the world, the growth rate was lower – 20%. On this day, there was also a slight decrease in CPI in the USA (2%) and its growth outside the States (8%).
Recall that the last Thanksgiving and the “Black Friday” that followed it were also marked by a surge in the activity of consumers who made their purchases using smartphones.
