Velti has published a monthly report on trends in the mobile advertising market. According to him, the most “mobile-involved” country is Israel, the iPod Touch accounts for more advertising impressions than the iPad, and eCPM (effective price per thousand impressions) in the USA, the number of games increased by 20% in a month.
So, in Israel, the average time spent by an adult audience using mobile applications is 80 minutes per day. Next are Sweden and Singapore. The indicator for the United States is 38 minutes per day.
Further, in the period from May to June, a serious increase in eCPM was recorded. The largest increase in this indicator fell on such categories of applications as “sports” (increased by 23% to $0.76) and “games” (increased by 20% to $0.90).
As for the distribution by platform, iOS is the leader here. It accounted for 62% of all advertising impressions. Although, it is much more interesting to look at the distribution not between platforms, but between devices.
