The research firm Consumer Intelligence Research Partners has published the results of its study of iPad user preferences conducted in the period from December 2011 to April 2012.
It turned out that 40% of them, first of all, use a tablet for web surfing, games were in third place (27%).
They were able to bypass entertainment applications (watching videos, listening to music, etc.). A third of the surveyed iPad owners said that this type of activity attracts them the most. Only 11% of respondents said that they use a tablet to access social networks. Only 8% of the audience reads books and magazines on a tablet, and 9% read and send e-mail.
It is worth noting that there is a clear trend towards an increase in the share of iPad users using it for business purposes. In this study, it was 13% (fourth place after web surfing, entertainment and games).
