The creative director of Assassin’s Creed 3 and Far Cry 4, Alex Hutchinson, has announced his departure from Ubisoft.
Hutchinson wrote about this on Twitter. He also announced the start of his own business — the indie studio Typhoon Studios, founded jointly with Reid Schneider. Hutchinson and Schneider worked together on Army of Two at Ubisoft Montreal.
Reid Schneider has also produced such projects on Mad Max, Batman: Arkham Knight and Batman: Arkham Origins.
Typhoon Studios has not announced any game projects yet.
Alex Hutchinson spent 7 years at Ubisoft Montreal, and before that was the lead designer of Spore and Sims 2 on the staff of Electronic Arts.
