Ubisoft has announced the launch of a new studio in the Swedish capital. The Stockholm office was headed by Patrick Bach, who resigned as CEO of EA DICE at the end of last year.
It is stated that the new studio will work closely with the Massive Entertainment team responsible for Tom Clancy’s The Division on AAA projects, one of which will be a game based on the Avatar movie franchise.
Within the framework of the new studio, 100 vacancies have been opened. Another 200 is going to open Massive.
As for Patrick, he worked at DICE for 15 years. In the company owned by EA today, he started as a senior game designer, since 2004 he has been producing the Battlefield series. He became the CEO of DICE in 2014 after the launch of Battlefield 4.
