A former employee of the Quantic Dream studio, Caroline Marshal, founded her gaming company Interior Night in London and intends to develop the genre of interactive drama.

While working at Quantic Dream, Marshall was the lead game designer for the Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls projects. She has worked in the studio for more than 11 years.

Marshall said that at Interior Night she wants to create games in the genre of interactive stories and hopes to interest fans of dramatic shows like Breaking Bad and Fargo in them.

“We think that we will be able to attract the audience of the series to our games with the help of “streamlined mechanics” — very accessible and simple actions, as well as focusing on the development of the plot and the disclosure of the personalities of the characters. These are the things that are implemented best in the series,” explained Carolyn Marshall.

The staff of Interior Night consists of Carolyn’s colleagues from Quantic Dream and other studios. Over the next year, Marshal hopes to increase the number of employees of the new studio to 20 people.
