The game was released as part of the “Early Access” on October 22, 2015. Its full release took place on March 11, 2016. According to Sergey, five months were enough for the team to finalize the project.

In total, 15 updates to the game were released during this period, which provided the game with more than 20 new features for the official release, including both achievements for Steam and much more significant things like an interactive tutorial, leagues and a player reputation system.

Working with the community and constant updates allowed the project to reach 7 thousand sales by March. But the main sales went directly after the release. Early access, in which the game spent 41% of the time on the market, gave only 16% of total sales in sold copies and 11% in monetary terms (by the way, after the release, the price was increased from $ 9.99 to $ 14.99).

The latter, from Sergey’s point of view, “confirms the correctness of the statement that developers should consider the early access period primarily as a time when they establish connections with the future community of their game, and not as a time during which they receive additional funds for its development.”

After the release, the developers did not stop working on the game. From March to October, 13 more major updates were released, adding both new game content and new functionality and game modes.

Were also released with DLC. In numerical terms, they are responsible for a solid 19% of all copies of the game sold, but in monetary terms — only for 8%.

Despite the fact that Russia dominates in the number of copies of the game sold (20% of sales are behind it), in terms of the amount of money brought to the team, it is — with 10% — only in third place after the United States and China.
