A new game studio has appeared in Sweden — Neon Giant. It was founded by a group of developers, each of whom at one time had a hand in creating AAA action movies: from Gears of War and Far Cry 3 to Bulletstorm and Doom.

At the origins of Neon Giant are Tor Frick, Arcade Berg, Erik Gloersen and Jonathan Heckley. According to the founders of the studio, their combined experience in the gaming industry exceeds 70 years.

Neon Giant has received investments from the Swedish media holding Goodbye Kansas. The amount of funding is not specified.

CEO of the holding Per-Arne Lundberg called the team of the new company a “dream team” and expressed confidence that the first release of Neon Giant “will be a milestone in the history of the Swedish gaming industry.”
