The daily audience of the Design Home Design application of the mobile developer Glu Mobile has reached one million users.
The international release of the game took place in November 2016. By the end of June 2017, Design Home had been downloaded 25.5 million times. During this time, the game earned over $40 million, and by the end of the 2nd quarter of this year, it accounted for 27% of all Glu Mobile app purchases.
Glu Mobile CEO Nick Earl noted that Design Home has managed to attract the attention of even those who are not usually interested in mobile games.
Design Home is a development of Crowdstar studio, which Glu Mobile bought for $45.5 million in November 2016. The application allows you to decorate the interiors of virtual rooms, choosing furniture and decoration items.
Another Crowdstar game, the Covet Fashion designer simulator, continues to generate more than $10 million dollars per quarter.
Despite the positive tone of the company’s reports, Glu Mobile continues to reduce employees and eliminate entire departments.
