The authors of the browser clicker Clicker Heroes from the Playsaurus studio will make the second part of the game paid. “It will be ethical. We made a lot of money on microtransactions, and now it’s embarrassing for us,” explained Playsaurus.

According to representatives of the studio, they no longer want to make money on gamers who are not aware of their addiction.

“At Clicker Heroes, we tried not to annoy players with our in-game store. However, some managed to spend thousands of dollars in it. We hope that you could afford it and wanted to support us, and not to indulge your weaknesses,” reads a statement on the Playsaurus website.

There will be no microtransactions in Clicker Heroes 2, the game will cost $30.

Playsaurus added that they will leave the monetization in Clicker Heroes unchanged, since the existence of the studio depends on these funds.
