Another gaming giant is preparing to enter the Auto Chess clone market. Tencent has announced a mobile Chess Rush. Its peculiarity is the presence of fast 10—minute matches.

Chess Rush выполнен по стандартной схеме. Восемь игроков сражаются в парных боях, расставляя фигуры на шахматной арене. Такой же геймплей и в оригинальной Auto Chess (Dota Auto Chess) от Drodo Studios, и в Dota Underlords от Valve, и в Teamfight Tactics от Riot Games.
Но одна фишка отличает Chess Rush от ее предшественниц. Игрок может выбирать между классическими 40-минутными сессиями и короткими 10-минутными матчами. Ряд аналитиков высказывал мнение, что битвы на десятки минут, даже самые динамичные, — это существенный недостаток для мобильных тайтлов. Tencent стал первым издателем, который озаботился данной проблемой.
