Former Ubisoft executive producer Stefan Delacroix (Stéphane Decroix) has been appointed head of game development at the Swedish company Starbreeze. At Ubisoft, Delacroix worked on the Watch Dogs franchise, and at Starbreeze he will be responsible for the development of The Walking Dead, Crossfire, Payday and other titles.
The head of Starbreeze, Bo Anderson Klint, noted that the company will benefit from Delacroix’s experience in creating new projects and managing large development teams.
There are several new video games currently in production at Starbreeze. These include the sequel to the Korean multiplayer shooter Project Crossfire and a new part of the criminal online action movie Payday 3. Also this year, the Payday Crime War mobile shooter is being prepared for release, transferring the gameplay of the desktop version of the game to iOS and Android.
