The Finnish company Rovio has announced the holding of MumJam 2017, a training seminar on game design aimed at women with children.

In addition to mothers, MumJam will be open to everyone interested and interested in developing video games.

The participants of the seminar will be divided into teams, each of which will have at least one mother. Within two days, teams with the help of professional developers will implement projects from an idea to a playable prototype.

According to Rovio, MumJam should help mothers who dream of returning to work and taking a fresh start in the video game industry. At the seminar, they will be able to get acquainted with the studio staff and try their hand at game development.

“We welcome diversity in the selection of employees and want to encourage moms who want to work again after having children,” said Michelle Simon, senior recruiter at Rovio’s London office.

MumJam 2017 will be held in London on November 11-12 this year.
