The leading designer of the Civilization V strategy, John Shafer, left the Swedish Paradox Interactive, where he was accepted six months ago. The reason for the departure was “creative differences,” the studio reported.
“John is an ambitious man with great enthusiasm and passion for work. He has had some good discussions with our team in recent months. We wish John all the best in his future career and thank you for all your efforts while working with us,” wrote Mattias Lilja, Vice President of Paradox, in an official message.
John Schafer joined Paradox Interactive in May of this year. He was appointed the head of the game project, whose name and essence were not disclosed.
