During the PlayStation 5 Showcase, Sony released information about how much the console will cost and when it will be released.
The price for the basic version of the PlayStation 5 will be $ 499. A complete set without a drive will be cheaper. Sony will ask for $399 for it.
The start of sales is scheduled for November 12 in the USA, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. In other countries, it will appear after November 19.
As for the games, about a dozen products were shown during the 40-minute session. The main game surprise of the event is the announcement of Final Fantasy XVI. The project is being created by Creative Business Unit III, a division of Square Enix, which is headed by Naoki Yoshida, producer of the entire Final Fantasy XIV line.
Another surprise was the announcement of a role—playing game based on the novels of Joanne Rowling – Hogwarts Legacy. She is engaged in Warner Bros. Games, Wizarding World, Portkey Games and Avalanch.
The gameplay was also demonstrated for the first time, previously presented at previous events of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the remaster of Demon’s Souls and a number of other products.
