Clash of Clans was released on iOS six years ago and is the most profitable game in the history of the App Store. However, in assessing exactly how much the game earned, analysts from Sensor Tower and App Annie differ — and by a billion dollars!

Recall that in early July, App Annie published the tops of profitable and downloadable games in the history of the App Store. According to App Annie, Clash of Clans has earned $4 billion since its release.

However, another analytical service, Sensor Tower, published the results of its calculations yesterday. According to them, the revenue of Clash of Clans on the Apple platform is $3 billion, that is, a billion lower.

Sensor Tower also reported that on average, the game earned $1.4 million for each day of its existence. Now revenue has fallen slightly (in June, “clashes” were in eighth place in terms of revenue in the App Store), but it still exceeds $ 1 million per day.
