Russia has entered the top five most mobile game-playing countries, according to a study by Flurry Analytics.

Our country accounts for 5% of all mobile gaming sessions in the world.

The United States tops the ranking with an indicator of 20% of gaming sessions on mobile platforms globally. This is followed by India (13%), China (7%), and Brazil, whose level of enthusiasm for mobile games is equal to Russia’s — also 5%.

Over the past year, the popularity of mobile strategy and racing games has grown most significantly, the number of gaming sessions in these genres has increased by 29% and 26%.

Role—playing games lost 29% of popularity over the same period, and casual games took the second place in terms of the depth of the decline in gamers’ interest – minus 23%.

Statistics show that players began to log into mobile games less often, but began to spend more time in them during one game session.
