The number of installations of games by the California studio Pocket Gems has exceeded the 100 million mark. The company told the Venturebeat portal about this.

According to App Annie, Pocket Gems ranks tenth in the top iOS publishers. And this is with only 20 active projects, which are supported by a team of 150 employees.

The team was founded in 2009 by former Stanford University student Daniel Terry and his friend Harlan Crystal. At the beginning of 2011, it employed only 10 people, but thanks to the success of Tap Zoo and Tap Pet Hotel, the company gained weight very quickly.

At the moment, the flagship studios are Paradise Cove: Holiday Adventure and Tap Paradise Cove.

Pocket Gems does not invest much in advertising, betting on its own cross-promotion network.
