This became known from the top 52 highest-grossing mobile publishers published by App Annie last year. According to the analytical service, Playrix so far earns less than Activision Blizzard and Supercell, but overtakes the authors of Pokémon GO, streaming service Netflix and Electronic Arts.
Playrix is not a public company. Therefore, it is difficult to talk about her annual earnings. According to Newzoo’s estimate, the publisher could generate $634 million in the first half of 2018 alone. We can assume that the annual revenue of Playrix is more than $ 1 billion per year.
According to the analytical service DataMagic, minus the share of the App Store and Google Play, the revenue of Playrix could be about $900 million (excluding earnings from advertising).
Today, the Vologda-based company earns only on four projects. Homescapes and Gardenscapes bring the main share of revenue. Township and Fishdom earn significantly less.
Despite the company’s record earnings last year, its sales rate declined by the end of the year. This can partly be explained by the lack of new releases from Playrix in 2018.
