In some countries, the start of sales of the new PlayStation began a week ago, but it reached Russia today. But it’s still not easy to buy a console – no major retailer has it available.
Starting today, players from most countries, including Russia, can get a PS5. But only those gamers who managed to place a pre-order will be able to get a console from us. And it’s not all simple: residents of distant regions may have to wait for some time until the order reaches them.
At the time of writing the news, PS5, judging by their websites, was not available in many large retail chains: DNS, 1C Interest, Eldorado, M.Video and others (they write that the console is not available). When she will appear there is unknown.
By the way, “M.Video” does not exclude that in the near future a new generation of consoles will still be available. According to representatives of the network, the situation with supplies to Russia is constantly changing. If possible, retailers will try to start selling.
But even when the console appears in stores, it will be possible to buy it only via the Internet. According to Sony, this is how the company is struggling with the growing incidence of COVID-19.
As well as all over the world, both versions of the console will be available in Russia: basic and digital. The latter differs only in the absence of a disk drive. The price of the basic PS5 is 46,990 rubles, and the price of the lightweight one is 37,990 rubles.
