The authors of Homescapes announced material support for the Russian and Ukrainian regions in the fight against coronavirus. Playrix will allocate several grants for the purchase of medical equipment in hospitals.

As reported in the press release, the regions where the company’s offices are located will receive support first of all. Cities such as are mentioned, among others Petrozavodsk, Ivanovo, Kaliningrad, Barnaul and Veliky Novgorod.

The initial grant, which will amount to 25 million rubles ($ 324 thousand), will be received by the Vologda Region. Playrix promises that this money will be spent on “artificial lung ventilation devices, X-ray machines and other necessary medical equipment.”

The remaining funds will be distributed among the remaining regions. They will also be used for the purchase of medical equipment and the purchase of protective and disinfectants.

Earlier, another company based in Russia volunteered to financially help the domestic healthcare system. Last week, Yakut-based MyTona announced that, together with its partners, it would donate 45 million rubles ($0.5 million) to hospitals for lung ventilation devices.
