Paradox Interactive acquired 33% of Seattle studio Hardsuite Labs for $2 million. Under the terms of the deal, Paradox may increase its ownership stake in Hardsuite Labs in the future.
Hardsuite Labs was founded in 2015 by employees of Zombie Studios after its closure and retained the rights to a number of its franchises. In particular, she owns the fritupley MMO shooter Blacklight: Retribution 2012 release.
In addition, the studio helped in the development of titles such as K illing Floor 2, A Hat in Time and Obduction.
As it became known, Hardsuite Labs is currently working on an unannounced project that will be published by Paradox.
