Brazil ranks 13th in terms of spending by gamers, according to the analytical company Newzoo. According to her forecasts, by the end of the year Brazilians will spend $ 1.5 billion on the games.

About 212.4 million people live in the country, but a little more than a third of the population – 75.7 million – play games.

Half of Brazilian Internet users play on mobile: 50% of men and 51% of women. Other platforms are also quite popular: 44% of men and 38% of women play on PC at least once a month, 37% and 30% play on consoles, respectively.

There is an active paying audience in the country: 83% of paying players spent money on in-app purchases. DLC and add-ons are quite popular: 38% of men and 35% of women bought them.

Gaming video content is watched by more than half of Brazilian Internet users, 16% of them are people who almost do not play themselves, but like to watch others play.

Among users who are aware of esports, 12% regularly watch esports competitions. The most popular esports discipline in Brazil is expected to be a FIFA football simulator.
