Women are more active and enthusiastic mobile players than men. So says a joint study of the Google Play platform and the rating site Newzoo.
According to the data obtained, women make up 49% of the audience of mobile players in the United States of America.
Mobile devices are the favorite platform for 64% of women, while among men 38% of respondents are most willing to play on mobile.
Women play on mobile not only more willingly, but also more often than men: 43% of survey participants log into mobile titles at least 5 times a week, among men this figure was 38%.
Women in the USA play mobile games for entertainment to relieve stress or take time in moments of relaxation.
In addition, female mobile gamers in the United States feel some discrimination from game developers. 60% of the study participants said that in their opinion only a third of mobile games are made with a female audience in mind.
The study was compiled on the basis of a survey of over 3.3 thousand American women aged 10 to 65 years.
