The Chinese publisher NetEase has promised to sue the creators of mobile games that copy the creative solutions of the “royal battles” Rules of Survival and Knives Out. A few days ago, PUBG Corp. filed a similar lawsuit against NetEase.

They accused the authors of Knives Out and Rules of Survival of illegally imitating PLAYERUNKNOW BATTLEGROUNDS.

PUBG Corp said NetEase’s activities caused them irreparable harm. The company is demanding monetary compensation and the removal of Knives Out and Rules of Survival from the app stores.

NetEase, in turn, claims that its games embody “unique ideas and solutions.” The company announced its intention to defend its intellectual property in court, if necessary.

Knives Out and Rules of Survival earn about $20 million a month in total.
