Game Division Mail.Ru The Group has announced plans to publish hyper-casual projects. By the end of the year, the company is going to invest up to $10 million in this direction.
Now MY.GAMES is looking for “purposeful development teams” to cooperate, which work in three directions: Hyper-Casual, Hybrid-Casual and Idle.
The publisher offers:
- up to $50 thousand to finalize the project;
- marketing budget “sufficient to provide tens of millions of installations“;
- up to 60% of the net profit from the project after launch.
In addition, the company promises to provide:
- full product support before and after release;
- financial, product and marketing expertise at all stages of project creation.
Speaking about the initiative, Elena Grigoryan, Director of Marketing and Advertising of strategic projects at MY.GAMES, mentions that the annual volume of the hyper-casual games market has already exceeded $1 billion.
Entering this market, Mail.Ru The Group will face fierce competition. Dozens of successful companies already work here, whose monthly downloads reach hundreds of millions.
By the way, the company will also compete with former colleagues. In early April, the company’s managers Ivan Fedyanin and Alisher Yakubov left MY.GAMES to launch their own hyper-casual publishing house.
MY.GAMES offers to leave an application for the publication of a hyper-casual game at this link.
