Square Enix has announced Deus Ex: The Fall, a game for smartphones and tablets based on the most popular cyberpunk franchise.
The project is being developed by the studio N-Fusion (known for the arcade flying game for iOS – Air Mail) in collaboration with Eidos Montreal. The release is expected this summer. Platform – iOS, price – $6.99
Players will meet characters from the novel Deus Ex: The Icarus Effect, published by Random House. The main character, a former British mercenary Ben Saxon, understands the secrets associated with the supply of medicines necessary for the survival of “augmented” persons. The plot of the game begins from the moment the book ends. The developers promised a completely new story and, of course, intuitive controls for touchscreens.
And everything would be fine, but the project, in our opinion, is very much like Mass Effect Infiltrator, which did not catch stars from the sky.
