After Microsoft bought ZeniMax Media, the question seemed to hang in the air: what will happen to the games of the acquired company on third-party consoles? There are still no specifics, but one thing is already clear — at least Bethesda projects will appear on other platforms.
Yesterday, Xbox CFO Tim Stewart spoke at the Jefferies Interactive Entertainment virtual conference, where he commented on the situation. According to him, Microsoft did not prioritize exclusive rights to Bethesda games when it made the deal.
But this does not mean complete freedom of choice for the studio. Stewart clarified that Bethesda can release games for any consoles, but it is desirable to give preference to Microsoft platforms.
We are not going to deprive Sony and Nintendo consoles of Bethesda games. <...> But we want these games to appear first of all on our sites in the long run, or to appear on them in the best way.

Moreover, the corporation associates the future of the Xbox Game Pass, including with Bethesda titles. Stewart believes that games like Fallout or Elder Scrolls can attract a lot of new subscribers.
Recall: a month ago, Xbox Phil Spencer (Phil Spencer) stated that Microsoft is not obliged to sell Bethesda games to other companies in order to “beat off” the deal. And the company intended to solve the issue of exclusivity of projects in each individual case.
