Another game from the retro treasury has received registration on mobile platforms. Yesterday, a ported version of the original Lode Runner premiered in the App Store and Google Play.
The release is timed to the 30th anniversary of the game. In 1983, it appeared on the Apple II, Commodore 64 and other platforms. Time magazine included Lode Runner in the list of the top 100 games of all time.
In the current version, all 150 levels of the original have been preserved, and in addition, new “features” have been added, including Expedition and Time Attack modes. Mobile Lode Runner Classic, in accordance with the latest trends, is “socialized”: it provides a common table of results for all players and the ability to post their achievements on Facebook.
