According to unconfirmed information, Google intends to lift the ban on the presentation of gambling games with real money bets in the Android store.
This was reported by the web publication CalvinAyre with reference to the British media agency Degree53, which specializes in the gambling industry.
According to Degree53, on July 11, Google sent out an information letter to gambling operators, in which it announced the acceptance of applications for gambling on Google Play since August 2017 in the UK, France and Ireland.
Later, the new policy may extend to other countries.
According to Andrew Daniels, a representative of Degree53, game developers will have to provide Google with a confirmation of a gambling license.
Currently, this information is not available on the Degree53 website or anywhere else.
