Google has confirmed the existence of the Arcade gaming startup, which develops mobile social games.

Arcade operates inside the Area 120 business incubator, where Google employees can develop their own startups with the prospect of their further introduction into the official products of the corporation.

According to Bloomberg, citing its own sources, the Arcade project’s lead was 21-year-old Michael Sayman, who previously interned at Facebook.

Informants also told Bloomberg that the first Arcade game will be a mobile quiz. It will be released this summer.

Google has not yet revealed the details of the Arcade project, describing it as a “very early experiment.”
