Google has determined the winners of the next competition for independent mobile game developers.

The final of the Indie Games Festival was held in San Francisco on September 23.

Of the 20 finalist projects, 10 games were determined by popular vote, after which the jury of the competition chose from the top ten three champions of the indie competition.

The winners were the Flipping Legend runner from Hiding Spot Games, the Slayaway Camp puzzle from Blue Wizard Digital LP and the Tiny Bubbles puzzle from Pine Street Codeworks. The last game is just getting ready for release.

The winners received a feature of their games in the indie section of the Google Play app store.

In addition, the following projects made it to the finals:

  • Age of Rivals by Roboto Games
  • Beast Brawlers – PvP Arena from V2 Games Inc.
  • Covens by Raincrow Studios, LLC
  • Crashy Cars by pixelbizarre
  • Splitter Critters from RAC7
  • Jigsaw Story by Happy Square Studio Inc
  • Loteria Latin Bingo by Gorilla Bean Games

Indie Games Festival is part of Google Play’s comprehensive program to support independent mobile game development along with the Indie Corner section and other events.
