A series of strategies with a 60 million audience has a replenishment. Game Insight has announced the launch of a new game in the “Natives” universe — Trade Island: Big City Tribez. Like its predecessors, it is a city builder. Already at the start, the game boasts good retention.
In the comments for App2Top.ru the company noted that the retention of the first day of the game is 50%, the third day — 35%, and the seventh — 25%. It is these indicators that the game has achieved within the framework of the softlonch, which the game has been running since September last year. The soft launch was carried out in the Netherlands and Canada.
Recall that in the mobile market, retention is considered good if it is 40% on the first day, 25% on the third, and 15% on the seventh. However, in Game Analytics, these figures are considered very high, because, for example, only the top 16% of games have a retention of more than 10% on the seventh day.
Trade Island: Big City Tribez
The developer of the novelty was Divo Games.
This is an internal Game Insight studio. She was also responsible for the creation of the original “Natives”, which came out in May 2012. Before Trade Island, at least one sequel was already released within the franchise — “Natives and Castles”. It was also developed by Divo Games, but did not achieve comparable commercial success with the first part.
The original “Natives” today, along with the Airport City City builder and the Guns of Boom network shooter, are one of the most profitable projects of Game Insight. This, as well as the launch of Trade Island, indicates the continued interest of the Lithuanian-based company in the casual direction.
Guns of Boom
This is stated by the president of Game Insight Maxim Donskikh.
In connection with the release of Trade Island on his Facebook page, he noted that despite how much the launch of Guns of Boom affected the internal processes and image of the company, hardcore is not the only direction for it.
In the Game Insight profile on the App Annie analytical service, you can now find several more casual projects going through the softlonch stage. Among them there are games in such genres as three-in-a-row, solitaire and hidden object.
