Publisher G5 Entertainment and developer MyTona, between whom since January 2017 there has been a dispute over the extension of the license agreement for the game The Secret Society, have reached an agreement on the settlement of the dispute.

Recall that a year ago, the publisher announced that MyTona does not fulfill the terms of the agreement concerning the license extension. Details were not reported at the time. The Yakut studio did not agree with the claim and stated that it would defend its interests in court.
The result of lengthy negotiations was the purchase of G5 Entertainment from MyTona of all the rights to The Secret Society game. The Swedish-Russian publisher will pay the developers an amount for the project, which may amount to more than $ 6.5 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, G5 Entertainment undertakes all further development and support of the project.
The Secret Society is a mobile hidden that was developed by MyTona studio. The project appeared on mobile platforms in 2012. From the very beginning, its publisher was G5 Entertainment.
The project is one of the main blockbusters of the publisher, which have earned more than $100 million for the company in total. Specifically, The Secret Society has been consistently included in the Top 100 highest-grossing iPad games in the USA for five years.
