Nitro Games plans to become the second Finnish team to enter the stock market.
The developer of Raids of Glory, one of the reinterpretations of Clash of Clans, is going to become a public company. This is reported by the British edition GamesIndustry.biz .
As part of the initial public offering on the Nasdaq First North exchange, Nitro Games plans to raise €3.2 million.
The collected money is necessary for the studio to start releasing its games independently, without the participation of the publisher.
Now the company is preparing to release a new project – a realtime multiplayer game with maps in the setting of the Second World War – Medals of War. Previously, the studio specialized in PC strategies about pirates.
The first Finnish team to enter the stock market was Next Games, the developer of The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land mobile strategy, in March of this year.
