The first Finnish company to enter the stock market was Next Games, the developer of The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land mobile strategy.
On the first day of the IPO, the company’s share price increased by 20%. On the morning of March 22, one share was worth €7.90, and the entire company was valued at €143.5 million.
At the close of trading, the share price rose to €9.47. The company’s price also jumped to €165 million.
The company announced its plans to enter the stock market back in February.
The worldwide release of the company’s main project – The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land – took place in October 2015. The game is consistently included in the US box office gaming Top 150 on iOS and the US gaming Top 100 on Android.
