Electronic Arts Corporation will not release games on the Nintendo Switch console yet. EA has postponed the final decision on this issue until March 2018.

Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen told the Wall Street Journal that the company is taking a break in order to “fully assess the demand for a new platform” before investing in it.

In September of this year, EA ported the FIFA 18 football simulator to the Nintendo Switch.

Although EA does not yet plan to transfer its large franchises to Switch, this does not apply to single indie projects, since they usually show good fees on this platform (Oceanhorn or Kamiko are an example).

In 2018, an action adventure Fe from the Swedish studio Zoink Games is due to be released on Switch.

It was developed as part of the EA Originals program, according to which Electronic Arts helps indie studios create and publish titles.
