The expenses of mobile players in the children’s social MMO Roblox for all time exceeded $750 million. Soon the game will earn even more: it will be released on the Chinese market.
According to Sensor Tower analysts, most of Roblox’s money came from Americans. Mobile players from the USA spent $503 million in the game, that is, 67% of the total revenue. The second market for Roblox was the United Kingdom: from here the game received $ 67.5 million or 9% of revenue.
The game has a positive income dynamics. In May, the game earned $ 36 million. This is 50% more revenue in annual terms.
Note that the popular social “sandbox” is being prepared for release in China. This will be taken care of by the publisher Tencent, with which the developer Roblox Corporation has entered into a strategic partnership. It is unknown when the Chinese version of Roblox will be released.
