In two weeks since the release, the free version of Diner Dash on Google Play has been downloaded more than 1 million times, according to the American publisher PlayFirst.
As John Jordan writes on Pocket Gamer, the company was in no hurry to release on the official Android market. And that’s putting it mildly. The mobile version of the game on the App Store appeared back in 2009, in 2012 the project was also released on the Amazon Appstore. And only last May the release of Diner Dash took place on Google Play.
“We don’t just jump on platforms, we care about the quality of our games,” said Marco DeMiroz, executive director of PlayFirst, in this regard.
As for downloads of the paid version of Diner Dash, the price of which is 31 rubles in Russia, then we are not talking about good indicators. According to Google Play, the number of downloads of Diner Dash Deluxe at the moment is somewhere in the region of 10 thousand to 50 thousand.
On iOS, the total number of races has crossed the 20 million mark.
