Hipster Whale studio, which developed Crossy Road, announced that the iOS version of the game with Unity Ads raised a significant amount – $ 1 million.

Recall that in the shareware Crossy Road, included in the list of the Best of 2014 App Store from Apple, the free-to-play 2.0 approach is used. IAP does not affect the gameplay itself in any way (you can neither buy the opportunity to continue the level after defeat, nor buy any boost). For money, you can only buy skins of game characters, otherwise, if you don’t want to spend real money, you will have to watch ads / play a lot.
