Support for Google Play trading operations has appeared in China,” reads the announcement on Google’s official blog.

Chinese developers will be able to export and sell applications to Google Play users. They will have access to the same monetization schemes as other developers.

According to Google representatives, revenue from sales, micropayments and so on will flow directly to developers to a local bank account – by wire transfers in US dollars.

It should be noted that the Google Play store has not yet appeared in the country. That is, Android users in China download third-hand applications. These are Qihoo 360, Tencent, Wandoujia and other stores owned by Baidu, one of Google’s main competitors in the Asian region.

Google services have been unavailable in China since 2010 due to disagreements between the country’s censorship committee and the company’s policy.
