According to the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Google controls too large a share of the local mobile market and does not want to share the source code.

According to the digital portal Engadget, the Chinese department recently published a “white paper” in which it expressed its dissatisfaction with the dominance of Android in its own market, as well as, surprise, Google’s discrimination against local companies working on original mobile platforms. The main claim boils down to the fact that Android is open source, but its key sources are closed. In China, they think this is wrong and complain that Google refused to share them with the authors of Aliyun OS.
