The developer of the PvP shooter Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds studio Bluehole Studio has denied the fact of the purchase of its shares by the Chinese corporation Tencent.
Co-founder and chairman of Bluehole Studios, Chang Byung-gyu, confirmed to Bloomberg that he is in “promising” talks with representatives of Tencent about the possibility of selling a stake, but did not disclose details.
Recall that at the end of last week it was reported that Tencent bought less than 5% of Bluehole shares from one of the studio’s investors for $61 million.
