On the Facebook Instant Games platform, most titles get a million downloads in the first week after launch. This was announced by the president and founder of Avallon Alliance Artur Ostapenko.

“If the game is not trash, then in the second week it also makes a million or almost a million installations. If it is made qualitatively, then in the third week — a million. Then the growth rate decreases,” Ostapenko wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, a high-quality game often has an increase of 200 thousand new users in one day. The peak increase was 360 thousand installations per day.

Ostapenko obtained this data by creating a parser that tracked changes to the MAU projects in the Instant Games catalog on a daily basis.

On March 10, Facebook removed the display of the monthly number of active users of instant games on its platform.

The parser that collected publicly available data stopped working.

Instant Games is currently in closed beta, which was released on November 29, 2016. There is no monetization in the platform’s projects.

Ostapenko noted that his studio is currently working on 6 games for Facebook Instant Games.
