China’s mobile developers accounted for 25% of the amount that Apple paid for 2014 to all iOS developers.
This became known during yesterday’s teleconference on Apple’s financial activities for the second quarter of this year.
Recall that in January 2015, the Apple corporation announced that in 2014, developers earned “more than $ 10 billion.”
It was not specified exactly how much of this amount falls on game developers, but given that games continue to be the most profitable type of applications (they account for about 75% and 80% of App Store and Google Play revenues, respectively), it is clear that most of the amounts fell on those who make games.
And China, it seems, is rapidly turning into one of the main gaming forges (for money, for sure). Are we waiting for expansion?
