The situation around the bans of accounts of iOS developers from Belarus has normalized. Apple started activating them back, and at the same time sent out a letter in which it apologizes and calls what happened a mistake.
This is reported on the pages dev.by . The information is also confirmed by Habra users. The letter, if translated into Russian, is as follows:
Hello (developer’s name)By mistake, a letter was sent to you informing you that the legal entity associated with your Apple developer account is registered in the sanctioned region.
Your legal entity is not registered in the sanctioned region and we have corrected the error.Your developer account is now active, as are all related apps and IAPs.
No action on your part is required. We apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused to you.
If you have any questions, please contact us.
With best wishes,
Apple Developer Relations.
Recall that on February 5, Apple began massively banning the accounts of all developers who were associated with Belarus.
The platform notified them that the entity associated with them was on the list of countries sanctioned by the United States.
Now, according to the Belarusian media, accounts and applications are being restored from them.
