Amazon continues its global expansion. Yesterday, she launched the end-to-end authorization service in Android and iOS apps.

The end-to-end authorization system will allow users to play games and pay for IAP in them under an Amazon profile. This is a kind of analog of authorization using a Facebook account, which has recently become a standard in the mobile industry. 

The service works simply. In applications using the system, the Login with Amazon icon appears, activation of which will allow you to download your Amazon virtual profile. As you can see, one-on-one, like Facebook.

According to the company’s representatives, the new service will increase conversion and engagement. 

Do developers need this? On the one hand, not really, because there is Facebook. On the other hand, Amazon has 200 million users, most of whom have bank cards.
