Amazon is willing to pay $0.002 to developers for a minute spent by each user in the game.

Amazon начала выплачивать разработчикам за время, проведенное в приложении игроками

The American retailer has launched a new Android store – Amazon Underground. The main feature of the store is its non-standard monetization model. The fact is that all the content in the store is absolutely free for end users. All IAP and all paid applications cost nothing to the end user. Moreover, for every minute spent by the user in the application, Amazon pays the developer of a specific program $ 0.002.

It would seem that the ideal system is both ours and yours. But what does Amazon itself plan to earn? Everything is simple here: on advertising. However, it is worth paying tribute to the retailer, he undertakes to show full-screen banners strictly in two cases: at the first launch of the application and sometimes when returning or subsequent launches. That is, the experience itself from interacting with this or that application will not spoil.

Among those who have already released their app on Amazon Underground shelves are such game studios as Big Fish Games and Backflip Studios. The store itself can be installed on your smartphone by any Android users from the USA, Great Britain, Germany and France.

Details about the project are here.
