Granny and Fortnite were the top two words among search queries in the US last month.
The company AdvertMobile has provided charts of the most popular search queries for iOS in the USA and Russia. The charts indicate which words and phrases related to mobile games users searched for most often in March 2018.
Charts show the number of hours that each query topped Trending Searches (a search page displaying the ranking of the ten most popular queries). There is also information about the applications that were the first to drop out for each request.
TOPS OF THE MOST POPULAR GAMING QUERIES IN THE USA
The leader among iPhone gaming requests in March was the word Granny. The application for this request is a game of the same name from the Swedish team DVloper. The latter specializes in budget horror from the first person. Granny is no exception. In the game, the user must escape from home and not get caught by the monster.
Granny also ranks second among gaming requests on the iPad. The first place on the tablet is behind the Fortnite request. Released in mid-March, the game was available to users exclusively by invitation until April. This did not prevent the project from earning $5 million in the first days. By the way, the word Fortnite was also a popular iPhone request in March. Behind him is the 8th place.
Another query that was present in both the iPhone and iPad top was the phrase Helix Jump. The minimalistic game from the French from Voodoo is also called. In three-dimensional games, the user must earn as many points as possible by spinning the tower, on the panels of which the ball jumps.

In Russia, the first place for iPhone requests in March was for the game “Clover”. Quiz with real prizes from My.com it was released in the middle of last month. In the first three weeks, its downloads amounted to 1.5 million.
The second most popular request was Knife Hit 2. That’s just it was not a continuation of the popular minimalistic game from Ketchapp, but its clone — Knives Hits 2 — from Anna Gulevich.
The leader among the search queries for gaming on the iPad was the word “Racing”. The first application for this request, as a month ago, is Driving Zone: Germany. The PUBG request was also very popular in Russia.
